Guess who's finally active again! (if only for a little while)

So, I have decided to re-do Sirina's Hetherev story/entry (all I had done was the entry from 2 years ago anyways.) I've been developing her character more in RPs through tumblr and I am very eager to toss her into this new world. I've also joined the group forum in hopes of starting some RPs that will hopefully add some interesting twists to Sirina's challenges!

For now, here's a little drabble of what's going on.

Rain. It had to be rain, Sirina thought as she navigated through the monsoon. Like most Vulpems, water was not something Sirina enjoyed in the slightest, much less this icy rain and harsh winds. The storm seemed to have come from out of nowhere. One moment the young Vulpem was gliding over Italy, and the next she had been swept up in this massive thunder storm. Just her luck.

A flash of light blinded her from the left, just a moment before a deafening 'boom' filled the air. The only thing more unnerving than the water that had soaked deep into her fur and chilled her bones, was the lightning that threatened to knock her out of the sky at any moment. She'd been flying for almost half an hour though, trying to escape the storm. But no matter which direction she flew in, the clouds and chaos seemed to never end. Sirina wondered for a moment if the dark clouds were following her. Rather than make her laugh, the thought urged the Vulpem to fly faster. She had to get out. It was only a matter of time before a bolt jolted through her and fried her from the inside out. What was worse, if the shock didn't kill her, she was certain the fall would. There wasn't a single sign of safety below. No ground. No trees. Not even the sea.

As the tired creature flew, her movements slowed and her muscles became tired from the strain. Another bolt struck behind her, closer than the last one. She made a decision in that moment. She could only hope it would work.

(Part 2 coming soon!)
